Kicking off with the biggest and baddest of all the museums in The Potteries The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery is epic. This is a real family day out if you like your arts and culture with many fabulous and interesting displays, pieces and galleries. The main gallery has an extensive ceramic collection while the art sections boast original Lowery’s. There is a new wing devoted to the Spitfire which was developed and manufactured in and around SToke-On-Trent during the war.

Gladstone Museum
Originally owned by two bothers Michael and Thomas Shelly in the 1770’s this is a very old and historic building in the Potteries. From the start the Shelly brothers operated ceramic factories producing creamware which was a common product back in those days. Today the site is owned and run by the county council and is used as a museum, education facilities. MOre recently it has also been the home to the Great Pottery Throw Down on the TV.

Situated in the leafy town of Newcastle Under Lyme and set in the Brampton Park this little gem is as pretty as can be. Recently renovated you can browse the collections related to Newcastle Under Lyme or take in one of the new exhibitions in the Jim Wain court yard exhibition space. There is a cafe, outside play area and a sand pit so a really child friendly place.

Airspace Gallery
We are really luck in Stoke On Trent to have the Airspace Gallery. The gallery is run by artists and includes gallery space, projects and resource rooms. You will find local and national artists and projects here which will engage and entertain. Airspace support all sorts of amazing artists and has close links to many local institutions. There are regular residencies, activities, shows exhibitions and partnerships to keep you thinking about and loving the Stoke On Trent art scene and much much more.
